With holidays cancelled and a year of living in jogging bottoms, if ever there was a time to treat yourself, it’s right now!
I’ve recently become a big fan of gift boxes and subscription boxes.
There’s nothing more fun than receiving a box and not knowing exactly what’s inside. Then rummaging about and pulling out all the things!
I’ve bought a number for friends and family and thought it was high time that I treated myself to one as well.
This is the one I’ve gone for.
1. Lemonade Box
I was looking for a pampering box to treat myself with and Lemonade Box seemed perfect!
The box arrived very quickly, the day after I’d ordered it and I was very excited to open it.
I loved all of the products in the box, in particular, the Frankincense and Jasmine Night Facial Oil by Siskyn which smells divine!
I also really liked the little can of sparkling water infused with raspberry. It’s often a struggle to find flavoured waters without artificial sweeteners. This one was purely water and fruit, with no sugar or sweeteners at all.
It tasted lovely.
The box also includes a ‘monthly mission’.
This month’s is to make some plans.
I must admit to feeling a bit unmotivated about making plans, but I’m going to stick the mission somewhere I can see it to help me get some catch-up dates with friends in the diary by the end of the month!

Subscription boxes are a fantastic way to try different things as well as supporting small, local businesses.
They are also great value. I paid £18 for mine (including shipping) and the retail value of the products was £58.
Can’t wait to receive my next box!
I found my box through Cratejoy who have the largest selection of subscription boxes that I’ve seen, many of which ship worldwide. (Watch out for shipping costs if you are outside the US. In my case, I found a list of boxes that ship from the UK to keep costs down).
They have amazing subscription boxes on all manner of topics including self-care, books, spiritual, home and living, food and drink, entertainment and tons more!
During my research, I also found 14 other box ideas that you are going to absolutely love.
Sit back and delve in. It’s time to treat yourself, after all, you deserve it!

2. Authentic Books

Not at all surprisingly I’ve been drawn to the boxes that offer positive vibes!
This one has been curated by therapists to increase happiness and reduce stress. There are over $120 of items in each box so it’s great value.

8. Puzzles And Mysteries In A Box
There are lots of boxes in this category on Cratejoy.
I love the idea of receiving a box each month that you can enjoy with your family. Especially as we are still all in the house with each other a lot of the time!
As a fan of escape rooms, this particular one definitely appeals.
It comes with a themed recipe so you can make a real night of it.
A treat not just for you but for your friends and family too (even if it is over Zoom at the moment).

I love these ideas. I haven’t yet tried a subscription box, but I’ve been thinking too, and your post has many great ideas. I really like the personal growth CoachCrate idea. That is a brilliant one, as is the Authentic Books one. Thanks for sharing and putting this together!
Alison
Thanks Martha, I love those ones too!
Lori
I want them all! Honestly, I’ve been wanting to get a subscription box that was NOT clothing or accessories (because, well, I’m still wearing sweats every day…) I’ve narrowed down to CoachCrate, Therabox, or SparkleHustleandGrow…maybe I should try all three? Awesome roundup of some really great – and varied – subscriptions here. Thanks!
Alison
I say go for it! Enjoy 😀
Stephanie Pick
Loving these ideas, especially the Goddess box! Thanks for the list, so many to choose from!
Alison
Thanks Stephanie, glad you like them 🙂
Chloe Chats
I love the sound of so many of these! I’m really getting into gardening at the moment, so maybe the garden box would be a fun one for me. I never really buy subscription boxes, but I’ve only ever really seen ones for make up or food before so it’s nice to see that there are so many different ones. x
Alison
I wasn’t aware how many different ones there were either, doing the research was quite a revelation!
Big Girl Big City
I usually try and avoid subscription boxes because I end up with a lot of things I don’t know what to do with… Like this bridal subscription box recently!
But if it’s about food then it’s different, it makes me try new things I wouldn’t have bought myself. I love the sound of the healthy snacks box you’re mentioning, apparently it’s vegan AND gluten-free… What more to ask?
Alison
I must admit I don’t often get them myself, but I’ve been pleased with/have used everything in the one I went for 🙂
Joanna
They all sound so great! Hard to choose really. They all seem wonderful. I might try one as a Mother’s Day gift.
Alison
I think they would make a great gift for mother’s day 🙂
Latisha
As always you’ve posted a wonderful blog posts with so many awesome gift box options! I really love the stationary box option because I love writing. Thanks for caring and sharing.
Alison
Thank you so much Latisha, glad you enjoyed 🙂
