Why Did I Start This Blog?

I began my journey of seeking ways to live life better around five years ago.  Feeling stressed with living in our ever-complicated world, I began to look for practical ways to feel more positive, confident and healthy.

I’ve struggled with a lack of confidence all my life.  I have also inherited a trait that leads me to worry….a lot!  I know many of you struggle with similar issues.

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.
I’ve certainly found this to be the case.  I’ve come to realise that whilst I can’t change the behaviour and actions of others, I do have 100% control over how I react to the challenges in life.
I’m still a work in progress but I hope to share with you some of the things I’ve learned so far.  I also hope to continue learning in my research for this blog as well as from you – together we can learn and encourage one another.

What I’ve Achieved So Far

Some of the things I have achieved include:

  • Learning ways to feel calm
  • Finding ways to deal with negative self-talk
  • Stopping worrying so much
  • Losing a stone and establishing a healthy lifestyle
  • Finding ways to sleep better
  • Stopping caring so much what other people think
  • Learning better ways to deal with situations and people
  • Finding out how to be more productive and manage my time better
  • Creating and launching this blog
I also recently qualified as an accredited Life Coach through Wellness Professionals at Work.  (Life Coaching Skills Diploma accredited by the Association for Coaching. and The National Council of Psychotherapists.)  I love helping others to reach their potential and to live happy and fulfilling lives.

I’d love to work with you on a one-to-one basis to help you achieve your goals. Book your FREE 30-minute call to find how I can help you to get unstuck!

Stuff You’re Sure To Love!

If this all sounds good, here are some of my top posts so far from the blog which I hope you’ll like!

A Little Bit More About Me

So what am I up to when I’m not blogging?!  Well, I work full time in Leadership Development and I live in the North East of England with my hubby and my two cats Glinda and Elphie!  (If you are a fan of Wicked, the musical, they are named after Glinda and Elphaba, the ‘witches’).

We also spend a lot of time in the lovely city of York in the UK.  My ultimate dream is to become a full-time blogger and life coach and to move there full-time.
Hubby and I also love going on cruises!  Seriously hoping we can get back to this in 2021!

You can read my review of cruising to Bergen as part of a Baltic Cruise on ROL cruise.  This was definitely the most relaxing cruise we’ve been on, the air was so pure and good for the soul!
Other things you may not know about me – I can speak Spanish (well sort of, I can probably write and read it better than I can speak it nowadays), I used to sing in a choir and I can do the Rubik’s cube!!
I would love to hear from you.  Let me know what you think about the blog and what topics you would like to see me cover.
I’d also love a follow on Twitter and Facebook.
Looking forward to getting to know you a little better on this journey called life!
